Section 681DP defines what counts as a "relevant tax relief" deduction for the purposes of the sale of income chapter, covering deductions across corporation tax, income tax and employment income contexts.

  • Deductions in calculating trade profits or losses for corporation tax, and deductions for miscellaneous transaction losses or miscellaneous charges under corporation tax
  • Deductions for adjusted BLAGAB management expenses of insurance companies and for investment business management expenses under corporation tax
  • Deductions in calculating trade, profession or vocation profits or losses for income tax, and deductions for miscellaneous transaction losses or other chargeable income under income tax
  • Deductions from employment earnings for expenses or in calculating employment losses for income tax
