Addition of Revenue Scotland to the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014

Schedule 4 paragraph 12 amends the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 to formally add Revenue Scotland to the list of contracting authorities subject to Scottish public procurement rules.

  • Revenue Scotland is inserted into the schedule of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 as a recognised contracting authority.
  • The insertion places Revenue Scotland in Part 1 of the schedule, which covers Scottish Administration and Scottish Parliament bodies.
  • Revenue Scotland is listed as paragraph 13A, positioned immediately after the Scottish Housing Regulator entry.
  • As a listed contracting authority, Revenue Scotland must comply with Scottish public procurement legislation when purchasing goods, services or works.
