Schedule 14, paragraph 14 updates cross-references in the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 to reflect the replacement of the Value Added Tax Act 1983 with the Value Added Tax Act 1994.

• This paragraph amends paragraph 23 of Schedule 2 to the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 to update outdated VAT legislation references.
• The reference to "section 2C of the Value Added Tax Act 1983" is replaced with "section 3 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994".
• The reference to "subsection (7) of section 16" is replaced with "subsection (8) of section 30".
• The reference to "subsection (9)" is replaced with "subsection (10)".
