Corporation Tax Act 2010 section 348

Adjustments

Section 348 provides that where there is any change to a company's adjusted ring fence profits, the necessary consequential adjustments must be made for the purposes of the ring fence expenditure supplement rules.

  • If a company's adjusted ring fence profits are altered for any reason, corresponding adjustments must be made under this chapter.
  • This ensures that any recalculation of ring fence profits flows through correctly to the expenditure supplement computation.
  • The adjustments maintain consistency between the revised profit figures and any related tax calculations or claims.
  • This provision acts as a safeguard to keep all figures within the ring fence supplement regime aligned when underlying data changes.
