Extent

Section 20 sets out the geographical extent of the HGV Road User Levy Act 2013 across the United Kingdom.

• The Act applies across the whole of the United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• Where the Act amends another piece of legislation, the amendment only applies to the same geographical areas as that other legislation.
• This means the Act's reach may be narrower in specific cases where it modifies laws that do not themselves cover the entire UK.
