Funding

Section 23 deals with how the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) receives its funding from the Welsh Ministers to carry out its work.

  • The Welsh Ministers are required to provide funding to WRA for it to carry out its functions.
  • The amount of funding is determined by what the Welsh Ministers consider appropriate.
  • The Welsh Ministers also decide the timing of payments to WRA.
  • The Welsh Ministers may attach conditions to the funding as they see fit.
