Section 29 sets out the accounting and financial reporting obligations of the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA), including the requirement to maintain proper records and prepare annual accounts as directed by the Welsh Ministers.

  • WRA must keep proper accounting records and prepare accounts for each financial year
  • The Welsh Ministers direct how the accounts are to be prepared and presented
  • Ministerial directions may cover content, presentation methods, accounting principles and any additional supporting information
  • The Welsh Ministers may vary or revoke their directions at any time
