Child Support (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 (S I 1991/2628 (N I 23))

Schedule 3 paragraph 23 amends the Child Support (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 to update the list of benefits that exempt a person from paying child support fees, replacing the old working families' tax credit with the new tax credits.

• Amends Article 44(2)(b) of the Child Support (Northern Ireland) Order 1991
• Removes the reference to "working families' tax credit" from the fee exemption provision
• Replaces it with eligibility for any element of child tax credit other than the family element, or working tax credit
• Ensures that recipients of the new tax credits continue to be exempt from child support application fees
