Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 Schedule 5 Part II

Revocations

Schedule 5 Part II lists the statutory instruments that are revoked, either in whole or in part, as a consequence of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 consolidating and replacing earlier legislation.

• The National Health Service (Vehicles) Order 1974 (SI 1974/168) is revoked in its entirety, along with its Scottish equivalent (SI 1974/1491).
• A specific cross-reference within Article 118(2) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 is removed, namely the words from "and the reference" to "1972".
• Paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 is revoked.
• These revocations tidy up the statute book by removing provisions that have been superseded by the 1994 Act.
