Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 Schedule 3 Paragraph 6

The Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972

Paragraph 6 of Schedule 3 updates a cross-reference in Northern Ireland health and social services legislation to reflect the replacement of the older vehicle excise law with the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.

• This paragraph amends Article 30(2)(c) of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1972.
• It replaces a reference to the now-superseded Vehicles (Excise) Act (Northern Ireland) 1972 with a reference to the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.
• The change is purely a consequential update to ensure the Northern Ireland legislation refers to the correct, current statute.
• No substantive change to the operation of the health and social services provision is made by this amendment.
